ResearchGroup:Materials Chemistry and Chemical Metallurgy

School of Metallurgy (Northeastern University) invites applications for two academic positions at Assistant or  Associate Professor level. The successful candidates will join a newly established research group led by Prof. Ali Kamali. The research of the group falls under the disciplines of Materials Chemistry and Chemical Metallurgy, and mainly focuses on  on Green technologies for the preparation of advanced materials includingcarbon nanostructures, composites and metallc/intermetallic materials for various applications, such as energy storage and conversion. The group has a close collaboration with several universities worldwide.

Applicants must have a Ph.D in materials science, chemistry or related disciplines with experience within one or more areas specified below (but not necessarily in all):  New materials for electrochemical systems including batteries and supercapacitors, carbon nanomaterials, molten salts, combustion synthesis and materials chemistry.

Applications from both Chinese and international candidates are welcome. The successful candidates will contribute in activities of the group, including the preparation of research proposals, research, the group's publications, teaching, student supervision and administration duties.
