A postdoc position is available at the University of Oxford to work on online algorithms and/or learning-augmented algorithms. The position is part of the ERC Starting Grant project "Challenges in Competitive Online Optimisation” led by Christian Coester, which aims to tackle central challenges in the fields of online algorithms and learning-augmented algorithms. Goals of the project include the advancement of algorithmic design and analysis techniques with potential impact on long-standing open problems in online algorithms, and the development of universal techniques for designing learning-augmented algorithms.
The start date is flexible with a contract of up to 2 years.
