The laboratory of Dr. Michael Green at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate for an open postdoctoral fellow position focused on defining rationale immunotherapeutic and cellular therapy strategies in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The candidate will employ approaches such as single cell multiome sequencing and humanized patient-derived xenograft models, and will join a multidisciplinary group of researchers employing a range of approaches including cutting edge genomics and epigenomics, human tumors, genetically engineered mouse models, and CRISPR gene editing. The position and project are fully funded thanks to support from the Schweitzer Family Fund.
The Green lab is part of the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma and the Department of Genomic Medicine, which offer a highly translational research environment. The lab is well funded through the NIH/NCI, research consortia and other funding mechanisms, and is highly productive. Dr. Green places strong emphasis on trainee mentorship and career development.
