Position Summary

A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the field of medical imaging in the laboratory of Dr. Yueh Lee focused on image reconstruction for computed tomography and limited angle tomography. Responsibilities will include the development and refinement of imaging reconstruction code for novel system geometries. The candidate should have experience with image reconstruction and Matlab/Python or C++ based programming. Experience in x-ray based modalities is helpful, but not essential. An engineering or technical background is preferred. Responsibilities will include working with a multidisciplinary team on developing reconstruction approaches to improve image quality and mentoring graduate students. Effective communication skills are a must due to the collaborative research environment.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

PhD or PhD candidate with background in engineering, physics or computer science is required

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Experience with image reconstruction and Metlab/Python or C++ based programming.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Experience in the area of hardware integration programming. An engineering or technical background is preferred.
