Please note that this position can be filled at Post-Doctoral or Senior Post- Doctoral level, depending on qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Position summary

A Post-Doctoral/ Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher is sought to work on a project supported by the SFI on a 3 year contract starting from May 2023. The researcher will be responsible for working on the projects focusing on improvement of ribosome profiling technique, discovery and characterisation of novel human proteoforms and interrogation of gene expression changes that take place during cellular transformations such as programmed cell death and epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

The successful candidate is expected to have Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related disciplines, ideally with experience in working in the fields of translational control and/or RNA Biology. The level of appointment is dependent on previous experience.
